It's not as long as the grip I took off, so it looks awkward. Also, the shifter for the old internal hub is part of the back brake, so it's gonna stay there until I find a nice cheap standalone rear brake handle.
On a funny note, the shifter broke about 10 seconds before I tried to take it off. I was giving the old shifter one last sentimental shift and it broke. Good thing it's under warranty until June! I plan on getting it replaced and then sold along with the geared hub built onto a 700c wheel; if you know anyone interested, let me know... the one I sell will be brand new.
