I did a bit of biking this weekend, including a 30 mile ride this morning with a bunch of fellow bikers. I was surprised that none of them scoffed at my nonfunctional motor. The motor is heavy and I can definitely feel the extra weight, but for the most part I expect it to work, so it'll help quite a bit :).
I've been having some withdrawal symptoms that I feel will ultimately end up in me getting another road bike without a motor. In short, I'm mixed about putting a motor on this thing because I'm sure it'll make me lazy.
