We met an initially cool climbing chick who for some reason kept bringing up that she had twin babies and that this was the first time she'd been out in 3 months. She wasn't a bad climber, but the crazy alarm in my head kept going off every time she opened her mouth; I've tuned this alarm quite well. Around noon we went back to said friend's house and talked about life while walking around his garden, picking mustard greens, lettuce, etc. to munch on.
I took the ebike home, ate lunch, switched to commuter bike, rode down to the hike and bike trail that surrounds Town Lake and then ran a 3 mile loop. I then headed over to my older brother's condo on 5th street for Thanksgiving dinner with my mom, Godfather, and his wife. After dinner, I showed my mom my newish - moved in 4 months ago - house, which is purple. For some reason I don't have any pictures of the new place yet and am too warm and cozy sitting in a comforter to go into the cold, dark and windy outer realms.
Then I taught my brother how to play Agricola. He's a great thinker and scored quite well on his first game. We played a second and then I rode home through 40mph headwind gusts.
And then I ate a pomegranate.
