So I still don't know how far my range is going to be yet... I haven't successfully drained all the batteries; unplugged leads, dead cells, etc... one day, but not today.
I got all the cells taken out of the cases. So now they're just sitting on my kitchen table. I'm going to get a whole bunch of bare single strand 14 gauge and solder them all together. Multistranded cables would fray and cause shorts. So I've got a ton of soldering to do.
For now, I've taken the electric wheel off, fixed the internal hub I had before, and have put the bike back to human power only. SXSW is coming up and I'm going to be biking with other people and don't want my shit fucked up, so we're back to square one for now. I'm going to buy the surly frame I've been looking at so I can have both an ebike and a regular one.
Can't wait to get everything on the new frame!
